The Threshold
A defined minimum standard of competence and performance. It gives students and the academy an objective way to talk about readiness.
After learning and practical training, each student's level is assessed against a clear, defined Threshold: a minimum level of required competence and performance. The path that follows depends on the student's real skills and performance. Level is measured by the Selection Index: Attendance & Participation 30%, Assessments 30%, Project Outcomes 25%, Engagement 15%.

Students who reach the required standard can move into employment within the ALA Core team, in the field they trained for.
Depending on level and performance, students can instead be referred to suitable opportunities at partner companies. Placement is commission-based and paid by the partner, never by the learner.
